Captain Mike is an “Independent” Candidate

February 2, 2026: When it comes to running the largest Sheriff’s Department in the USA, Retired Captain Mike Bornman will not use politics. His job will be the Sheriff of Los Angeles County and his responsibilities are very important.

• Keeping Los Angeles County Safe and reducing Crime.
• The Care and Custody of inmates of the LA County Jail System.
• Maintaining Safety in the Court System.
• Ensuring the fastest response to Calls for Service from Patrol Deputies.
• Listening to the residents of the County and Responding to their needs.

“Sheriff Mike Bornman” will not be politically driven by either the Republicans or Democrats. He will be the Sheriff who ALWAYS does the right thing with an independent stance.
